Entry Requirements
Requirements for enrollment include that candidates must be at least 18 years of age and with Leaving 
Certificate standard education or equivalent. Mature candidates who may or may not satisfy current educational requirements are also welcome to apply. All applicants for the Postgraduate Diploma must have, as a minimum, a recognised primary third level qualification.

Academic Qualifications
Upon successful completion of the course participants will be conferred with their professionally recognised Diploma in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations and be entitled to use the acknowledgement 'Dip Mkt, Adv & PR' in recognition of their professionally achieved status. Each candidate accepted for the course automatically becomes a student member of the European Institute of Communications (EIC) and each successful candidate will also be conferred with the European Institute of Communications' own academic accolade, will automatically be awarded professional membership status, and be eligible to use the letters 'MEIC' after their name.

This course provides students with the theory of marketing, advertising and public relations while also affording students an opportunity to study the Irish market and examine relevant Irish case histories. Students will study the design and implementation of strategies in these key areas leading to a thorough understanding of these disciplines in the workplace.
