Diploma in Event Management - accredited by the Public Relations Institute of Ireland and approved by the C4EE. The European Institute of Communications, a founder member of the International Association of Event Management Educators, is also recognised by Irelands ‘Centre for Excellence in Events’ (C4EE) as a formal educational provider for event management education in Ireland. Therefore, students of the Diploma in Event Management programme, accredited by the Public Relations Institute of Ireland, will have the added benefit of being able to attend C4EE networking events at discounted student rates. This unique facility will greatly enhance industry knowledge and personal professional development.
Course Entry Requirements
Requirements for enrolment include that candidates must be at least 18 years of age and with Leaving Certificate standard education or equivalent. Mature candidates who may or may not satisfy current educational requirements are also welcome to apply. All applicants for the postgraduate Diploma must have a recognised primary third level qualification.
Academic Qualifications
Upon successful completion of the course participants will be conferred with their professionally recognised Diploma in Event Management and be entitled to use the acknowledgement 'Dip EM.' in recognition of their professionally achieved status.
The European Institute of Communications is Ireland's largest provider of part-time courses accredited by the Public Relations Institute of Ireland. Each candidate accepted for the course automatically becomes a student member of the European Institute of Communications (EIC). Furthermore, each successful candidate will also be conferred with the European Institute of Communications' own academic accolade, will automatically be awarded professional membership status, and be eligible to use the letters 'MEIC' after their name.

Upon receipt of your application form and receipt of acceptance you will be required to submit a non-refundable deposit of €295.00 which will be deducted from your overall fee. Balance of all course fees must be paid no later than one calendar month after you have received the acceptance offer or before you officially start the programme - whichever comes first.
