There is a practical approach to lectures which encourages class discussion and interactivity. There is the added advantage of learning from the experiences of other students in their work environments.  Guest lecturers especially past students are very insightful and demonstrate how the Diploma has enhanced their career. This is a great motivator for everyone.

The portal is an invaluable resource, all notes and case studies are included the day after each lecture which means it is easy to build up a note file on a continual basis instead if leaving it to the last minute. There are also extra case studies and reading materials provided which serves as a quick and efficient research resource.

The pr proposal really is beneficial as it really instils the planning stages involved for any campaign so we have the basics and know how to run a pr programme by the end.

Making contacts and establishing relationships with other class members, guest speakers and lecturers provides the opportunity to share information about issues in the industry such as job vacancies, up and coming pr events. Once the course is over there is the possibility of looking to these new contacts for support and advice.

This accreditation enhances the perception of the quality of the diploma and may heighten its status in the minds of prospective employers.
