In the case of part time and long distance (online) candidates you will never miss a lecture as recordings are made for each lecture providing maximum flexibility for the busy professional. In addition, through our conference mobile app, you will be able to join in to live lectures on your mobile device when and if on the move. Alternatively, join the lecture on your PC whether in the office or at home.

Duration: 4 weeks including mandatory trip to Brussels

Lectures: 6:15pm to 9pm
Price: €1150 plus €110 assessment fee. Fees include accommodation costs for field trip to Brussels

 Course programme is In partnership with the Leuven Institute and successful completion of the course programme will give the additional benefit of Alumni Membership of the Leuven institute for Ireland. 
Incorporates trip to our centre in Leuven and EU Quarter in Brussels. ​Accommodation costs included in course fees.

Syllabus

Europe – its Culture and History; History of the European Union (1945 to present); Political Structure of the EU; European Integration; History of EU Treaties; Main Treaty Provisions; Ireland and the EU Treaties; Law making in the EU; The European Commission; The European Court of Justice; The European Parliament; The European Council; The role of other smaller EU Institutions; EU policies – The Single Market, Regional Policy, Common Agricultural Policy, Monetary Union, Justice, External Relations.
