Part-Time Post Graduate Diploma or Diploma in Event Management with PR and Social Media. Accredited by the Public Relations Institute of Ireland and approved by C4EE. Course includes extensive online and social media tools and techniques.

Course Fees are €1120 and includes examination fees. Discounts are available for registered students on optional courses including Certificate in Social Media and Diploma in Digital Marketing programmes. Discounts valued at €135.

The European Institute of Communications are founder members of the Association of Event Management Educators (AEME). The AEME is a European body responsible for qualitative professional academic training programmes in Event Management.

The European Institute is also recognised by Irelands ‘Centre for Excellence in Events’ (C4EE) as a formal educational provider for event management education in Ireland. Therefore, students of the Diploma in Event Management programme, accredited by the Public Relations Institute of Ireland, will have the added benefit of being able to attend C4EE networking events at discounted student rates. This unique facility will greatly enhance industry knowledge and personal professional development.

Entry Requirements
Requirements for enrolment include that candidates must be at least 18 years of age and with Leaving Certificate standard education or equivalent. Mature candidates who may or may not satisfy current educational requirements are also welcome to apply. All applicants for the Postgraduate Diploma must have, as a minimum, a recognised primary third level qualification.

Event Management Graduation Ceremony

Academic Qualifications
Upon successful completion of the course participants will be conferred with their professionally recognised Diploma in Event Management and be entitled to use the acknowledgement ‘Dip EM.’ in recognition of their professionally achieved status.

Each candidate accepted for the course automatically becomes a student member of the European Institute of Communications (EIC) and each successful candidate will also be conferred with the European Institute of Communications’ own academic accolade, will automatically be awarded professional membership status, and be eligible to use the letters ‘MEIC’ after their name.
