For most Irish businesses, social media has become a primary medium with which to engage, listen to, and communicate their existing and target audiences, whether it be customers, suppliers, employees, industry leaders or indeed peers and competitors. Social media platforms have changed the rules of engagement. An integrated and multi-channel social media strategy is now a must-have for businesses and organisations who are seeking to effectively communicate with their target audience and achieve their business objectives, especially since social media is an extension of the most powerful form of marketing: word-of-mouth.
As “peer marketing” (word-of-mouth recommendations from friends) rises down to the speed at which messages can now travel online, all organisations must learn to shape the public conversation about their brand.
The Certificate in Social Media enables professionals tasked with any form of corporate communications to plan, implement, and measure a comprehensive and effective social media campaign for any organisation.
Learning Objectives:
To develop a working knowledge of all the elements of SOCIAL MEDIA which can easily be put into practice within any professional arena
Who Should Attend
Those candidates who wish to manage the social media strategy for their organisation or company. In addition, it is an ideal programme for prospective communication professionals who have an interest in online digital marketing communications or those wishing to enhance their online management communications skillsets.
